Welcome to my author’s blog, Earth/Notes. I will use this virtual space to reflect on writing fiction, including the connections between crafting acts of imagination and contemplating the world around us. I cannot promise that Earth/Notes will be a “safe space.” Fiction often hunts for uncomfortable truths about the human experience, and the here and now often favors fabrications over harsh facts. But we share those truths, and–individually and collectively–we navigate between fact and fiction in ways that make life both maddening and wondrous.
